CONTENT REQUIREMENTS AND MODERATION

GENERAL

     Full legally compliant version Users may upload to the World Art Atlas platform only images that:

•    - are original works created personally by the User;

•    - or are uploaded by the User on lawful grounds as the rights holder;

•    - do not constitute copies, plagiarism, adaptations, or reproductions of third-party works without the permission of the rights holder;

•    - do not infringe copyright, related rights, or any other rights of third parties;

•   - are not copies, adaptations, or AI-generated replicas of existing works without the appropriate legal rights.

•   - do not contain explicit advertising, promotion, or branding of third-party brands unrelated to the creator’s personal brand or the submitted work.

     By uploading an image, the User warrants and represents, under their own responsibility, the accuracy and truthfulness of the above statements. The Platform Administration reserves the right to remove content and restrict or terminate User access in the event of any violations. 

   Users have the right to update or modify their profile information, images, and contact details without limitation, however, any changes are subject to mandatory re-moderation and approval.

IMAGE UPLOAD REQUIREMENTS

     Requirements need to be followed for successfully image uploading are:

- Image formats can be accepted: jpg, jpeg, png, gif, webp, svg.

- Max image size can be accepted: 10MB.

     Recommendations to photo how should be for best visual presentation in profile and common art gallery you can find bellow:

- Category MAIN profile photo - Square Image, Min 600x600.

- Horizontal Category profile photo (in case of unity 2 squares in horizontal view) - rectangle image, Min 600x1200.

- Vertical Category profile photo (in case of unity 2 squares in vertical view) - rectangle image, Min 1200x600.

- Your profile photo (your face as usual) picks as default image for all category where you will be present. So, we recommend to chose for each category one of your WORK image as best (for example, one of paint work for Paintings section, one of your sculpture image for Sculpture section, etc.). This way lets you be noticed thanks to you art exactly.

IMAGE CONTENT MODERATION

     All information and images uploaded by the User to the World Art Atlas website are subject to mandatory prior moderation by the Platform Administration. After an image is uploaded and the save (upload/save) button is pressed, the material is not published automatically and is submitted to the Administrator for review. The Platform Administration reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

-  approve the request for publishing the image on the website;

-  reject the request without publishing the content;

- request additional information or supporting materials from the User, including details regarding authorship and rights to the image.

     The Platform Administration reserves the right to refuse the publication of content without providing reasons if there are doubts regarding its authenticity, authorship, accuracy of the submitted information, or compliance with the platform’s rules. All decisions made by the Platform Administration within the scope of content moderation are final.

USER PROFILE INFORMATION UPLOAD REQUIREMENTS

     Requirements need to be followed for successfully profile information uploading are:

    -  profile information about user (biography, short review for works, etc.) need to be fulfilled in English. Please, be so kind to use the translator services or ask for assistance if English is not your native language.

    -  description length should be under 500 characters.

    -  be shortly, but still passionate about what you create.

USER PROFILE INFORMATION CONTENT MODERATION

     All information provided by the User when completing a profile on the World Art Atlas website, including first name, last name, nickname, short description, and contact details, is subject to mandatory prior moderation by the Platform Administration. After the profile information is saved, it is not published automatically and is submitted to the Administrator for review. The User undertakes to provide accurate, up-to-date, and correct information and warrants that the submitted data:

-  does not contain false, misleading information;

-  does not impersonate another individual, organization, or public figure;

-  does not infringe the rights or legitimate interests of third parties;

-  does not contain offensive language, discrimination, hate speech, calls for violence, or unlawful activity;

-  do not contain explicit advertising, promotion, or branding of third-party brands unrelated to the creator’s personal brand or the submitted work.

-  does not contain advertising, spam materials, or concealed promotional content. The Platform Administration reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to:

-  approve the publication of profile information;

-  reject or partially restrict the display of information;

-  request additional information or clarifications from the User;

-  propose modifications to ensure compliance with the platform’s rules.

     The Platform Administration reserves the right to refuse the publication of profile information without providing reasons if the information does not comply with the platform’s requirements or raises doubts as to its accuracy. All decisions made by the Platform Administration within the scope of profile data moderation are final.
